Promotional Presentations in Weihai(威海) and Linyi(临沂), Sandong(山东), China, were greeted by large audience

The presentation hall was packed with personnel from public media of China and state-owned broadcasting enterprises of Weihai (威海)and Linyi (临沂), Sandong(山东) province. Also, many officials from different regional broadcasting companies of Henan, Jiangsu and Anhui attended. The workshops on March 27 and 28 were core part of promotional presentations along with business meetings and consultations organized and carried by Medical Tourism Bureau of Daejeon City. This promotional event was to promote the combined program of medical service and cultural events, which was specially designed to attract seniors and adolescents of China. By introducing well established medical infrastructures of Daejeon and tourist attractions of neighboring provinces such as Gongju, Yesan and Yeongdong, which have been nurtured by the continuous municipal collaboration, the medical tourism programs of Daejeon have been well received. Particularly, the screening of a video clip containing the last visitor’s testimonials along with the overall features of the program created good responses from audience. Attendees pledged to support programs of Daejeon Medical Tourism by increasing the volume of participants from China using the network of the broadcasters. The collaboration is expected to enhance the publicity of the Medical Tourism of Daejeon and diversify the consumers, which traditionally have preferred metropolitan area for a group tour. City officials cited this promotion session as one of the successful advertisements abroad in terms that the strength of Daejeon as medical tourism hub, such as state-of-the-art medical technology, the refined image of research culture based on the array of advanced scientific institutes, and well established cultural belt owing to ongoing grant projects, will reach the public of China through the TV channels of four regions.
